******The Seven Steps of Prayer******

1. The first step to prayer is acknowledging who God is. I like to sing songs that focus on confessing who God is. 
2. The second step to prayer is sharing needs, wants, desires to the Lord. I like to sing songs that focus on making requests to the Lord. 
3. The third step to prayer is adoring and loving the Lord. I like to sing songs that focus on worshiping the Lord. 
4. The fourth step to prayer is opening your heart to the Lord.  I like to sing songs that focus on embracing and accepting God's love, promise and affection for me. 
5. The fifth step to prayer is inviting the Holy Spirit to help you pray for others. I like to sing songs that focus on inviting the holy spirit to pray for family, friends, ministers- even nations. 
6. The sixth step to prayer is thanking God for giving us victory through Jesus Christ.  I like to sing songs that focus on giving thanks to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 
7. The seventh step to prayer is praise.  I like to sing songs that focus on praising the Lord.
